Sofia is a proposal writer in ViLabs. She is working in the EU proposals department of ViLabs, handling the proposal preparation, consortium building and organisation, as well as the proposal writing and budget calculation of EU funds.
Sofia holds an M.Sc. in Governance and Regional Development and a B.Sc. in Political Sciences from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is also an Assistant Researcher at the Laboratory of Applied Political Research of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has worked as a Youth Researcher for the European Youth Card Association and the Representation of the European Commission in Greece. Sofia has been an active volunteer in the European Youth Parliament Network since 2013 and has organised a local event in Greece (2016) and has developed and organised the Digital Energy Forum (2020). Sofia has participated in more than 20 events of the Network all over Europe over the years. She has been awarded as an Event Organiser and Speaker in the #ThisTimeIamVotingCampaign of the European Parliament and was a Young Social Media Multiplier on Disinformation and Fake News.
Her research interests include data analysis, local and regional governance, civic participation, active citizenship, civic education, European politics, and governance and basically anything that is included in Google.
